About Invisalign®

What is the Invisalign system?

While traditional braces consist of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign® treatment is the complete opposite. This orthodontic treatment consists of a series of comfortable and discreet aligners to gradually move your teeth in their proper position without anyone knowing. Plus, you can remove the aligners whenever you eat or need to clean your teeth.

What is the Invisalign process?

The first step of the Invisalign process is to come in for a consultation. During this time, our orthodontists will take a digital impression of your smile to send off to a lab to ensure your aligners fit comfortably over your teeth. Then, once you receive your aligners, you will be required to wear them over a specific amount of time before switching them out.

How do I care for my aligners?

Clean your aligners regularly with slightly warm water and soap or you can gently scrub them with a soft-bristled toothbrush with nonabrasive toothpaste. You should also store your aligners in their case whenever you take them out to eat or perform your dental hygiene routine..
